In 2009 and 2010 I worked as the Resident Architect for Lee Abbey Christian Conference Centre in Lynton, Devon. I undertook a preparation of the full set of drawings for the alterations to the listed building including an Orangery extension to the Dining Room. The drawings were submitted alongside the planning set by Louse Crossman Architects for the new outbuildings within the site.

The consents had been granted in 2011 following which I was commissioned to manage the first phase of building works: the new Orangery, alterations to the Dining Room, holistic refurbishment of the Kitchen and internal alterations to the modern wing to form 5 en-suite single rooms. My work is still ongoing and involves administration of 5 building contracts, resolving issues on site, liaison with all consultants, monitoring of the budget and reporting to the Board of Trustees of Lee Abbey Devon.
